Four more hours til Christmas! Not that it matters, cause it’s actually not that big of a deal here.
Dec 25th is not a holiday. But 23rd is. Why? Because it was Emperor Akihito’s birthday yesterday, which was quite a big deal.

In ~two days, I’ll be jetting to the other side of the world.

On Sunday, 8 years, 4500 soldiers later, the last American troops left Iraq.
To some families, soldiers coming home is the greatest gift, but to some, it’s never really over.
And on another equally important note, Kim Jong Il is dead. However, the fate of North Korea remains to be seen.
